And there are two main reasons you might want this device when installing airbags.
You can use it when installing a compressor to get and give yourself a manual expansion valve or as we use it in this truck, to take the left and right side airbags and one so we can inflate them at the same time.
We have it installed here, so our fill valve is coming from the center of the road and both coming from the side are both going left and right.
You may prefer this setting if you just want to inflate the airbags quickly at the same time.
Now you lose the ability to ventilate up independently from side to side.
It will be important if you are trying to adapt to uneven loads.
You may want them to be different from each other.
But if you really don’t use it for uneven load purposes, this will weaken and empty them much faster if you constantly hook and remove the same trailer over and over again that doesn’t need left and right load balancing.
Our Air Lift compressor systems already have one T-connector so it can bleed both bags at the same time, but if you want to add a manual fill valve to it, you will need another T-connector here.
This can be installed anywhere between the air compressor and the airbags in any of these quarter-inch aircraft hoses to be used.
Just put it in between and place the middle one out on your manual valve.
